Source: https://blackmountain.io/modules/tasks

Coming soon to 48°: a lightweight task list for daily management work. See what is due today, who owns it and what is done – without boards, workflows or project software.

## Daily management, without the project software.

Tasks will be a simple list for everyday work: what is due today, who has it and what is done. No boards to configure, no workflows to maintain.

## Most daily work is too small for a project tool.

Approvals, follow-ups and routines end up in chats, notebooks and inboxes, because a full project tool is too much for a two-minute task.

### Tasks in too many places

To-dos sit in chats, emails and notebooks, and nobody has the full picture.

### Tools built for projects

Boards, sprints and fields take more upkeep than the work they track.

### Follow-ups that slip

What was agreed in the meeting is forgotten by the end of the week.

## Only what daily work needs.

A task has a title, an owner and a day. Tasks is built to stay that simple.

### Add in one line

Type the task, a day and a name. There is nothing else to fill in.

### One list for today

See what is due today and tick it off, for you and your team.

### Clear owners

Every task has one person, so it is always clear who has it.

### Simple lists

Group tasks by team or topic, such as Leadership, Sales or Operations.

### Follow-ups from 48°

Turn follow-ups from a chat or meeting summary into tasks.

### Team overview

See what is open and done per person, without a status meeting.

## What teams will manage with Tasks.

The small, recurring work that keeps a company running.

### Start the day with one list.

See what is due today and who has it, so the check-in takes a minute instead of a meeting.

### From meeting to task in one click.

What was agreed in a chat or meeting becomes a task with an owner and a day, so it does not stay in the notes.

### Keep everyday work on track.

Invoices to approve, reports to send, rotas to plan: small jobs stay visible until they are done.

### See who has what.

One simple view per person shows what is open and what is finished, without chasing anyone.

## Secure by design – in every module.

### Hosted in the EU

Application, storage and processing run in the EU, operated by a European provider.

### No training on your data

We use enterprise APIs – your content is never used to train models.

### Permissions built in

Roles on organisation, workspace and team level. AI only sees what the user is allowed to see.

## Questions about Tasks

### When will it be available?

Tasks is in development and not generally available yet. We are opening it step by step with early-access customers – talk to our team if you would like to take part or be notified when it launches.

### Does Tasks replace our project management tool?

No. Tasks is meant for daily management work, such as approvals, follow-ups and routines. Complex projects with sprints, dependencies and roadmaps stay in the tools built for them.

### What does a task consist of?

A title, an owner and a day, optionally in a list. That is deliberately all, so adding a task takes seconds.

### Who can see our tasks?

Tasks follows the roles and permissions of your 48° workspace, like every other module.

### Is our data used to train AI models?

No. Like every 48° module, it uses enterprise APIs, so your content is never used to train models.
